We ( me, Phoebe and Beth) have decided to take part in a competition for Slaithwaite to do some group work for it. The main idea was to create design for a underpass. Therefore we took a trip there to see how it will look and what size it is. Unfortunately, I was a little bit disappointed because conditions for this place were not the best. It was very damp and wet. It would be very hard to make very professional outcome.
We had a few ideas to work with. First of all we were thinking to create illustration using Slaithwaite landscape with all roads, mills and etc. , but after seeing the place we came to the second idea which would represent underpass as a huge tank with plenty fishes. The style would be that everything look like made from paper and paint would be which are glowing in the dark. I really like that idea, but unfortunately, we over slept deadline. Happens sometimes.
