These two works are made by modern artist Banksy. BANKSY is a pseudonymous graffiti artist who makes stencil graffiti combined with dark humour or irony. Every painting has different meaning and the idea. All his works are like a very strong message for the audience. By using irony he touches the most painful worlds problems or what society is ignored and concealed, for example the third world problems like poverty.
Stencil graffiti is a quite new type of graffiti. Stencil is usually a thin sheet of material, such as paper with design cut from it. When paints are spread the place where is paper left, paints just do not reach the surface and goes very beautiful art.
I always wanted to try something in Banksy style, because it is quite easy and strong message for everyone. I like that those works are not just in black and white. Colours give realistic impression and sometimes you can think that it is real (especially in the late evening).
Banksys' anonymity is the second reason why I like him so much. He shows and gives motivation for young people to not be afraid to be themselves. Nowadays it is very hard to be motivated and especially be yourself.
“The greatest crimes in the world are not committed by people breaking the rules but by people following the rules. It's people who follow orders that drop bombs and massacre villages.” BANKSY
