DESIGN MANIFESTO 2

In our Friday seminars, we were asked to read the article about designer manifesto and cross out unnecessary words which we do not need to use for our personal manifesto.

We are graphic designers and visual communicators encouraged apply their skill and imagination to sell dog biscuits, diamonds, hair gel and cigarettes. Graphic designers have time and energy for things that are inessential at best. Designers development are saturated with commercial messages. We propose useful, lasting and democratic forms of communication toward the exploration and production of new kind of meaning. It must be challenged by other perspectives expressed through the visual language.

After this, I decided to create different personal manifesto. It is quite hard to think about personal manifesto because of not knowing what can consist in the proper personal manifesto. I found it quite challenging, because of my personality. This personal MANIFESTO helped me to understand the main parts of the work and also do everything properly and on time. It is like a very good motivation list.

  • everything requires patience
  • do not loose your design style
  • always have a plan/list of work you need to do
  • stay positive: does not matter in how bad position are you
  • try to do everything as you can, reach perfection
  • do not waste any time, time is a real treasure
  • do not be afraid to be different
